Apart from capture, cordage is not something most of us need to hide. What we may want to hide is the nature of that cord. Replace boot/shoe laces with special cord, replace drawstrings on hoodies and jacket waist cinch cords. You can even get cord bracelets that function as garottes, hide line that cut's through plastic cuffs, hide plastic handcuff keys inside paracord laces, etc. Stick a kevlar friction saw in your underwear.
