I started my bike adventure with the same ducati you own, and also had an XSR 700, and wondered what were your impressions ? Personally I loved the XSR 700, would you switch and trade off the Duc, if you had the opportunity ?

Loved the XSR700, plenty torque, power, pop, speed, good sitting - but I'm a ducati boy, for now at least, the thought of trading to a Yamaha has not entered my brain not even for 1/4 second :)

@@ducatinyc I was commited to my own Ducatis (620 and beautiful custom S2r 800), I guess the change came with age, and I wanted something more reliable. It was small annoying issues with the Duc, like cold starts, and sometimes it just went to a stall on the intersection, or finding neutral was close to impossible sometimes :).Apart from that great bikes :), Yamaha is nowhere near as pretty as my previous S2R, but it gives me peace of mind :), something I realized is important for me :). I remember what a ducati service guy told me one day. Ducatis are like Italian women, beautiful but moody, and it is 100% the case with my Ducatis :).
