Sorry but if you start big you better understand how to read indicator and trade rule. most people start big are swing/day trade. if you start big as investor you should put your money into multiple stock.

Getting into investing is like a new hobby to me. I am so excited about what I know so far and what I don't as well. There is so much for me to discover, to learn and to try things myself. At times it could be frustrating and nerve wrecking because it is my own money I play with, but channels like this give me confidence that I too can master investing. Thank for your valuable and honest knowledge on this subject.

The earnestness of this video and the logic behind it with your way of explaining things thoroughly has earned you my subscriptions. Thanks for keeping it real but optimistic. Educating myself is causing me to see the possibilities before the experience of actually doing it. I've been having thought of wanting to start trading with larger percentages of capital. This was a good reminder and confirmation of sorts to take it slow.

I have been trading small for a long time and had success for the past 3-4 years. Overall market conditions were easy too, I must admit. I am a swing/long-term trader and always tried to keep my portfolio small, between 6 to 8 stocks, no more. But now that my bankroll has grown a lot, I can no longer trade small and invest 5K or 8K in a single stock. Its not enough, I need to increase my position sizes to keep a similar ratio % to my whole bankroll. So now I have to invest 12-15K and even 30-40K on my couple of my main positions. I have to confess, its a bit harder on the heart. I need to keep a positive mindset and trust my positions and sleep tight. It requires a bit of mental work. Losing 3% in a day of a 40K position is not the same as 3% on a 5K position .ahah

Affirmative... when I started in stock trading my capital is larger for a beginner thus, I have encountered multiple scenarios where frequent losses that 35 percent of my capital lost. In addition, I entered FX that resulted massive losses but I have no plan to quit so I started exploring my trading knowledge thru on line tutorials, reading different trading tips . Now I reduce my equities then applied the trading guide extracted from different resources gradually I started to be a defensive trader...Thanks

This video is extremely accurate. For the past few months i have finally been achieving success with daytrading after failing for 2 years. After taking 200 trades with 70% accuracy and 1:1 risk i decided "wow it's time to increase share size i am doing extremely well." So what i decided to do was TRIPLE my share size. What i eventually noticed while trading such larger amounts than what i was used to is that i was wiping out all of my profits that i had previously made. I noticed that instead of trading my normal pattern chart i was trading purely based off emotion. All because i changed share size i was not trading the same i was previously with smaller share size. So since i was losing all of my profits, greed kicked in and i started to basically gamble to try and gain my money back. Overall i ended up wiping out all of my profits and ended up having to start over. Right now i am doing great and have made all my profits back and i have to decided to SLOWLY and gradually increase share size.

I started trading last month with 27k. I never go over 100 shares per stock. I always thought going 5?? Or 10 is an 'odd lot' and harder to fill. Is it? Are people out there looking to buy 5 shares , or 1 ??
@PaniaThong7 жыл бұрын
You can buy any amount of shares including 1or 5 shares. Because when a seller wants to sell 100 shares, you will buy 5 shares from that seller at a specific price, so there are 95 shares left. Then other buyers will buy the rest of the 95 shares.

Another great video! Have you considered putting out a video of how to weather the escalating turbulence between North Korea and United States and its effects on the market? Do you suggest keeping a certain percentage of one's investible assets in cash, gold or somewhere else other than stocks? Fiscally solid companies should remain solid companies in spite of what happens in Northeast East Asia. A company like Vail (MTN) or Tesla (TSLA) remain good investments despite geopolitics, yes? Do you advise to taking some profits now and reinvesting on future dips?

@trollface19945 жыл бұрын
looks like you're sponsered by trading platforms. smaller investments = more platform fees. if i'm trading $100 a month into 10 different shares every month, at $9.95 platform fees, that's 10% off my investment every month. If i invest $1000 a month into ONE share a month, that's just 1%
