A big mistake in trading : FORCING TRADES! If there is nothing to trade, don't search for trades. Be patient and wait until setups pop up in your screeners and the market offers you a window of opportunity again.

Too true brother, i would say trading is close to 95% controlling your emotions. theres some good emotions and some are not. but all of them are good if you realise its a warning to get out of a trade or to not start one.(this takes many times making mistakes to learn, so don't beat yourself up at a loss just mittigate your losses expecting to learn)... the learning comes hand in hand with controlling the emotions and the learning will help you understand the emotions.

15:58, they say to try to run before you can walk. playing tennis with a professional for the first time should be done. When I was a kid, I learn how to ride a bicycle. The problem is, if I go slow then I will 100% fall. But, guess what happens when I go fast? Yes, I didn't fall for a few seconds. It is longer than going slow. They say sink or swim. Yes, you should start a business with a big amount of money. Yes, there is a 90% probability that you will fall and lose everything. But, you should do it because it is better for your experience. You could fall for months or a year but it is fine (not fine but it is fine). If you go slow, starting to make a real profit from your business will take maybe a decade. Remember, high risk, high return. Low risk, low return. If you play small, you will get and lose small. If you play big, you will get screwed or win big.

Okay, its official, I'm a fan. Thank you for all the knowledge Sasha! What are some of the common ways day traders organize and track their trades? If I'm remembering it right, you had a video about a web based service a bit back, but I'd prefer something offline. Something about having all my trades i.e. financial information stored on a website seems strange to me. Any additional advice for creating a trading journal is welcome. Otherwise, thanks again!

I was always told that you must wait for your target to hit and not takes profits right away because eventually ur risk and reward is what will make the difference. Now you say take profits. Lets say buy 100 shares of x stock witch is trading at 20. i will be risking 1 to make 2. Wouls you wait to hit target or ull take 1/2 of the position as soon as you are making profits ?
