I tried to continue the trades on daily charts a bit more. Would like to share here for comments. BERGEPAINT: Confirmation candle seen? SL: 489 Entry: High of confirmation candle = 508, Tgt: 547. Chart: www.tradingview.com/x/4dFhGKCG/ BHARTIARTL: Confirmation candle seen. SL: 548 Entry: High of confirmation candle = 583.45, Tgt: 611. The risk reward does not seem to be favorable. It is because of the wide range candle that has made the entry "late". Of course if one purchases at the dips instead (aggressive) it would be a nice entry.Chart: www.tradingview.com/x/beSihc3q/

Both structures are fine. I would keep SL below 50 SMA. Nearest Swing low point. To identify this, refer to 60 min chart.

Thanks a ton for Excellent Inputs. I have a query on why this method did not work in Berger paints a month back. From 7th April'20 the price started raising from 442 levels and raised upto 541 on 28th April. It did pull back from these levels and reached 50 Day M.A. at levels of 504 on 30th April. But it didnt raise up and went up to 430 by 20th May. What could be the Reason sir this strategy did not work

Hello Raunak. I skipped some of the videos in this playlist and saw this. This is different from the Breakout Strategies that most of the beginning videos are about. You did discuss a strategy to combine them: Set up a MA (50 day MA ) as a Retracement level. Wait for price to hit that and make a Breakout from there. I guess that's what I focus on more now. I did the same thing as you mentioned in tata steel. Did not buy after it breakout 260-300 zone. It pulled back again after reaching 350, so initiated trade at 303🤘 after pullback. Will it go above 350 now??? Missed out in PEL around 1000rs mark😣

sir how did u choose icicipru, biocon, bhartiartl in the first place. Is it because all these stocks fulfilled your criteria on a higher timeframe (say daily or weekly) since pullback for going long is only when stock is in upward direction. Did you also take into consideration adx or rsi values? your methodology is really good and easy to understand and implement. but answer to above query would make it easy to select stocks

Very very informative video. Only one suggestion. You can go fast when talking about applicability of concept on stocks, but it would be better to go a bit slower when the concepts are discussed. Ji, have a doubt. While looking for entry opportunities in both 30 mins and daily charts you use both 50 SMA and 200 SMA. Which one should we use? Which is appropriate for which time frame. While I tried backtesting this on liquid stocks like Titan and TCS, on a 30 Min chart, price close below 50 SMA and takes support at 200 SMA. So how to go about this? Also on the SL, should we use ATR method to fix stop-loss from our entry or look to a place near the recent swing low? Thanks.
