T&H Inspiration is on a mission to share inspiring wisdom. The goal is to have you pause, think, and reflect. Many of our videos revolve around the extraordinary teachings of Alan Watts that we produce with permission from the Alan Watts Electronic University.
T&H also films and releases original interviews with iconic people who have experienced successes, while also persevering through life's highs and lows. We look forward to sharing more of these perspectives and insights.
Our hope with these videos is to push your thinking. As Alan Watts said “No one is more dangerously insane than one who is sane all the time: he is like a steel bridge without flexibility, and the order of his life is rigid and brittle.” - Alan Watts.

I wake up every morning to one of my favourite Alan Watts quotes, I had it framed in my bedroom wall "The meaning of life is just to be alive. It is so plain and so obvious and so simple. And yet, everybody rushes around in a great panic as if it were necessary to achieve something beyond themselves."

When I was a child in the 70s my aunt and uncle were really into The lectures and literature of Mr.Watts. these people were unlike any other people I knew. They never got angry or loud or stressed out at least in front of I and my two cousins. I remember thinking as I got older into my teens how I wanted to be like them However I just now started to figure things out at 51 but I see how wonderful this world and life here can be. Thanks for uploading his teachings and thanks Mark and Allan

This is exactly what I've been trying to explain to humanity. we all and everything around us are part of a picture only few choose to see. Most choose to only see their part of the story. When there is so much more to it than that. Our systems have trapped our minds made us focus on only our selves. We need to step out of the box we put our selves in. And look for our selves so we can see the real picture.

Alan did very profound thinking and had practical experiences in addition to and academic work in religion and philosophy. I believe that all this information that Alan speaks in this recording, is information out there to tune into for a sensitive person who has a long, long journey behind him or her. It amazes me that I have come to the same conclusion than Alan. I love listening to him. Any human being can come to the same conclusion, it is there for all of us to discover. He is a beautiful and powerful soul.

Ever so GRATEFUL. Thank you Sensei.

I think the point is that everything is as it needs to be. We already are 'gettinh it right'. We are here, in the eternal moment. That's enough. Choose the life you would have, but don't expect to have it. You may, or you may not, and that's the way it has to be.

While I understand that Alan Watts wasn't some messiah or all-knowing guru, and that he had his flaws and shortcomings just like everyone does, I still can't help but feel a certain kind of... "spiritual respect" for him. Maybe his ideas weren't completely original and maybe he wasn't a serious, respectable, academic philosopher in the way that serious, respectable, academic philosophers define themselves. So what? Who cares? He was still uniquely talented at taking ideas and perspectives which are fundamentally incompatible with the traditional western worldview, and translating them not only into terms we can understand and resonate with, but do so in a way which is entertaining and pleasant to listen to. That's not something everyone is able to do, and I remain grateful that he chose to do so. I am a more well-rounded human being because Alan Watts gave and recorded so many lectures.

We do understand the immense complexity of life by using symbols and all their probabilistic outcomes. Why we are here is like asking heads or tails when in reality both occur. I have been traveling quite a lot lately and I can say that "I" is repeating itself everywhere. For instance, if I had a time machine and I could go back 4000 years and pinch a baby and let it grow up in this time, it wouldn't be different than anyone else. In other words, our technology, coupled with knowledge, is our tool, mentally as well as physically. Unfortunately, we all obsessively cling to the past, even though the future is Hier. So help the future to thrive or keep your psychological mouth shut.

You were. I was. The person on the corner was. There are many levels of conciousness and thought. This is important to know. Harder to understand. There is a source consciousness that has always been. Many unfortunately mistake this as God, and separate from us. But we are all parts of that consciousness. The idea is, this source consciousness separated itself, from itself, so it could know itself. Discover it's infinite-Ness (or not) and feel what it's like to feel. On all levels and dimensions. The "I AM" behind your own consciousness chose to reincarnate into you so it could learn a specific lesson or have some sort of experience you will or have had. It's called your soul contract. You can ask your "higher self" for guidance on this and more through meditation. As time does not exist there. Only here, which is also hard to comprehend at first. Good luck, be in the light always

The truth what is the truth I used to always wonder that question 🙋 I think for me that like it says in the Bible that you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free 🆓 John 8:32

All these clips are visually distracting, could've just been the thumbnail picture for the whole video, and it still would've been better than this.

When I clicked play I expected to see things as you describe them. I had my eyes closed for much of the video however when I opened them periodically I was struck by the harmony of the image to the content. Perhaps I got lucky
