Trading Is Coming Back To Rocket League!

I mean, Epic literally destroyed a whole game (by removing trading) to add an uninteresting game mode in another game which has nothing to do with Rocket League. Not to mention that Rocket League is older so it has a bigger legacy. Now, their plan has obviously failed, because the only people who were going to play Rocket Racing would be Rocket League players, anyway, but they were NOT happy that they had to get trading sacrifices for it, so they kinda sabotaged it by just not playing and showing their discomfort on the internet. If they leave the situation as it is, then they will have killed the game for nothing and done one of the worst fumbles in game industry. They are obliged to bring back trading at this point. And I think that they might actually do, because we all know that Epic loves money and people might actually buy credits for trading if/when it comes back. Sorry for the essay, thanks for reading :)

I don't have high expectations of the game anymore. It could probably be something they forgot in the files and just remove it later, or still release the items with the trade lock icon but remove it later because it could be a bug or something

I really hope they will give trading a big refreshing fix against scammers The typival "switching from titanium white to gray" or switching color items to non-color items was a problem due to *bad design on RL' part* to make the colors flash along with what type it was i.e aerial or heatseeker and whatnot are there What would fix it would be a simple seperation of the color and the type... As for color change scams it would halfly be fixed by that ^ But also they could make the Lock to trade option system a thing where both first choose what to trade and then you go on the second stage where say you get a last check of the items *preview* and then lock on and Then you get to trade the items I dont really understand why they didnt want to change the ui a bit to release off scam attempts as it seems pretty easy to me Ofc last option would be a relative to credits type calculator next to the items to show off the true value but then also community has its own version of those values so it'd be complicated

1. Trading was removed because of a Dutch fine Epic had to pay 2. Rocket Racing is stil getting developed on, it's just the devs changed the way its developed (players wanted more gamemodes rather than new tracks)

Obviously my account was empty except some worthless items on it. I didn't bother to trade ever again and use good old simple car designs. I also hit GC in 2021

1:35 additional car items still means that they are adding random rocket league items from rocket league to fortinte item shop every few weeks tho, like nipper wheels and other stuff are going to be added soon, i saw in fortnite leaks. They will keep adding random rocket league items to the shop so i think that this is the problem. I still really miss trading tho

So long as greedy Epic Games owns Psyonix, trading will never return. I want to be wrong about it and will be happy to be proven wrong if it does happen, but c'mon... It's Epic we're talking about. They're more likely to officially kill off Rocket League and the IP as well as shutdown Psyonix than to allow players to have the option to get whatever items they want, whenever they want, for way cheaper than what Epic charges in the store and thus, not have their hands on that sweet, sweet player money. And that is the sole reason why they removed trading in the first place, despite the official reasoning given. Which let's be real... remove trading so inventory can be available across platforms/games is simply nonsense. If the issue was platform/game-exclusive items incompatibility, a simple trade lock would have easily resolved the matter.

After new season looks like epic might actually trying bring back the wider audience after fixing their mistakes.. I wanna also see one more thing in the game as the toxicity is way to high. First 10 promotion games shouldn't give players diamond rank for new accounts.. big bro winning 10 games and lil bro ending up with capable players.. Id say new accounts should start from silver rank no matter how many placements they won.. that would make think people twice before ruining games with being toxic to others :)

There's a really good reason why I do NOT want Rocket League to reach Unreal Engine 5. The main reason is actually because I'm concerned that Epic Games will finally have the ability to put RL into Fortnite as a shitty side gamemode that people don't want. I hated that RR was just that, a Fortnite gamemode, and not a Rocket League gamemode. If they can, they will put RL into Fortnite which will completely kill the unkillable game.

bro listen to my story... when i started rocket leugue i was plat and new that i could get a free fennec by trading with someone then i got in a call for the last day with someone and he said he wanted to give me that. Wel... my whole tv crashed and so hard that my whole account could no longer be gaining credits or that i could spend money on it. (cous i could and i would) the next day i could play rocket league again and the friend said that if trading ever comes back to me he wil give me a titanium white fennec. and stil today i dont have a fennec. so i really hope this is true cous your giving me a real boost. Also for rocket leugue self i am now like champ and just continued going.

Well idk about y'all but I was kinda alright with trading being removed. I mean, it kinda felt like we were buying NFTs from each other. But they should have kept trading at least but only be allowed to trade Twitch Drop items, things such as GEs and Rocketpass items. It's a shame after it got removed the community got more toxic.
