Hi Donna! Love Floral Flourish! Those fabrics are beautiful. Seeing the different versions of a pattern is very helpful. I don't know enough about quilting "rules", so I would say that I break all of those rules!

Thank you so much for doing this video showing how we can shake things up a bit. I absolutely LOVE your patterns and books. It is so amazing to break rules in quilting. I learned that I do my best work when I just do me, which is usually to ask the question “what would happen if I do it this way?”. So, I break the rules and am always happier with the outcome.

I love this! I liked the first one for all of them except the last one. I liked the last choice best on the last one. I hope that I have that correct the number one is the focus.

This video was a great idea; I loved how you put them side by side! In fact I'd love to see you do the comparisons of fabric placements as much as the graphics person has time to work them out before showtime. Donna wouldn't necessarily have to "talk us through" all of the graphics, but possibly do screens of any fabric kits (even last call/closeouts) that uses that day's pattern in the kit after presenting them staggered on the table like you usually do. To start off, this could just be a once in awhile bonus at the end of a video. And while I'm suggesting how you can be even more stressed (😐), when writing future patterns for books, why not include the side-by-side switches? Or maybe just add a page now and then to your "Freebees" category? It could be in response to when you ask subscribers to vote on their favorite pattern(s), or which pattern they most want to see the switch comparisons. Okay, I realize someone in the background might now be saying, "Does she think she's in a focus group and we asked her, 'Tell us how we can grow our business'?" Yup. That's all part of the package when you ask us to comment, isn't it? 😄 Seriously, to answer the question you originally wanted us to answer, I am a ruler keeper in general; but I like to think of myself as a creative rule keeper - finding a way to keep a rule and still have fun obeying it in the process.
