I will give it, the chronometre should have a variant with an alarmclock. Plus add a wind up mechanic with a measure of error dependent on how rough the seas are (forcing a trip to the academy for an exact time or you doing the celestial measuring yourself. Taking on water should ruin maps and other devices sensitive to salt build up. Reserve sailcloth, ropes etc to maintain the boat, including cleaning off hull fouling(algea, corals and barnacles and woodworms(when hull damage gets introduced)) would give you stuff todo, and give you a reason to earn a decent income to maintain the boat. How clean the boat is when arriving in port should affect reputation retention(including a penalty if the goods end up dusty/salty/grimey) Small things, and ofc options to turn such features on and off as one wish.

This is the old way- there is a ledger in the trading office which gives a receipt and daily updates to prices- that is the information we seek on how to use this system efficiently. Also the currency and exchanges mean price difference in other regions as well, so there is a lot of material we need information on besides loading and shipping boxes using guess work from the merchants. Do the discounts play into the ledger shipping? The old trade missions are also available for rep and to earn currency, but prices appear to be reduced from what I remember. Thanks.

The trading is pretty much it. You acquire the goods, and sell when prices are favorable. When transporting goods, try to always focus your missions to the ports that buy it from you. There will be a moment where the prices will be favorable.

I've been wondering if those retail discount you get from all the reps you've earned affect your trade too... did make an experiment of trying to sell some stuffs I bought at gold rock city to happy bay before... tried to compare the price of the stuff before rising my reps there (at happy bay) and after rising the reps to the "next level"... the figure didn't seem to change tho.. =_=

No I don't think there should be a way to just wake up. A Person should plan their sleep schedule around what they do in the game I do I have no problems. But what they could do is have something like a mechanical timer you can set but using repeteady to wake up affects the length of your sleep bar in a negative way the same as what happens in real life.

Yep the trading is pretty hit and miss. Also i dont quite get the trading ledger at the port offices. .. Like if we have to go to the individual merchants then whats its point? I'll ask on the discord and see whats up.
