OMGosh, Josh! This truck is flooding me with nostalgia. My Dad had a 1974 (that same) yellow Ford F150, bought new. He had it until at least 1990. I remember my Mom taking us to get a Christmas tree in it, and when she turned the key and pulled it out, the engine just kept going. Possibly why it was finally traded. I didn't get my license until 1991, so I never got to drive it. I have such great memories of playing in the bed of it as a little kid (I was born in 75), and before anyone thought anything about safety (!!!) and SUVs weren't yet a thing, she drove my entire 6th birthday party to the movies in the bed. My suggestion for a completely impractical next trade for you is an early 70's Karmann Ghia. That got passed around from all my Mom's brothers to her. Red. That one was gone before I was 5. I just got rid of my 1994 Celica GT (3door) last year. Broke my heart to do it, but I knew I wasn't going to ever drive her again. Brake master cylinder went out while I was driving. Too scared to drive her even after she was fixed. I can't wait to see what you do with the truck. I love it just as it is.

It gets good and cold in Josh's part of Canada. I am in Nova Scotia, we get chilly compared to Alberta. We get a couple of really cold days a winter, plenty of ice and snow Jan, Feb, Mar. Shorts day yesterday but not today. Our weather is more mild as it comes up the Eastern seaboard from FLA. When it comes across the Country it gets really cold.

Cool 1954 Meteor! VERY 1950s styling. I really dig the "aircraft-style" levers on either side of the steering column. "Bad To The Bone" is a very appropriate song to introduce this beast. Clearly it has your name written all over it! I'd be tempted to just clean up the paint and clear-coat it to preserve the wild colours and cool patina. After you "personalize" it of course! I saw a video about a 1964 Ford station wagon that had spent many years in a junkyard in Texas. The paint on the car actually polished up nicely, but the paint on the roof had burned away in the sun. They just clear-coated the roof with a satin finish and it looked incredible! I know you'll get it running. Congratulations! That's one cool truck.

Dear Joshua Alexander. 👍👌👏 Oh WOW, simply fantastic! Both of it = the old pickup truck and the new painting of course! Congratulations! 🎉 I already absolutely love your new arts pickup truck. It carries just the right amount of wear. It looks fabulous, almost perfect. The overall condition isn't bad at all and it was definitely one of the easiest first starts I've ever seen. I think I'm even a bit jealous (for the first time). I would definitely be really jealous if the bed and maybe even the dash would be green (I simply love nearly anything that is green). 2) Theetravisb channel cleaned off most of the sticking dirt and, surprisingly, even most of the rust of his patina 1960 Impala. I highly recommend to watch the video about the way he did it. The result is quite impressive and it wasn't even a lot of effort. I can't wait to watch the next part of the series. Well done, Sir. I like this video very much. Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and especially health to all involved people.

In the 50s, Meteor was it's own brand in Canada along with Ford, Mercury, Lincoln and Monarch.. Starting in the early 60's Meteor moved over to the Mercury line.
