Always enjoy your videos. You do you and whatever you think will bring more subscribers. We'll keep watching no matter what. We've been into this hobby for almost 60 years. Great to see younger people carrying on the tradition. Hope your boys catch the car bug too!

I am 84 and a self taught back yard mechanic and keep son and daughters car well maintained. I just enjoy working with my hands & what I accomplish. I truly enjoy looking over your shoulder. I am learning general body work and other repair. Blessing fall on you, your family and house. 😊 I do like the way you bounce around doing different things and going from car to car. Keeps it fresh and interesting. Keep safe and busy !

Hey Bubba,👋🏻. Way Too Go,👍. You're 😎!! I'm an old man now. Life goes by quickly, especially if you're having fun 😉 At 17 yo. Just my two cents worth.... Your magic is in your sheet metal fab and repair. Don't let other stuff push that off of your channel. I can go to hundreds of other channels to see brake work and engine swaps. Your skill level ar metal fab is what makes your channel special. Mix other stuff in, too, but keep showing us your magic. If it ain't broke, don't fix it....

Since that drip rail needs repairs and all the window seals need to be done, might as well as chop it 2-3 inches "while you're at it." Those meaty whitewalls and the bumper wings are bitchin' on that rig.

My "old man" opinion: I think you touched on the "target". "Variety" is good/key. You are, obviously, "expert" on the metal work you have showing up to this point. Everyone already on this channel admires and respects that for sure. There is nothing "wrong", however, in learning while we watch and/or even advise if we can help, through our experience, in that learning process. I believe, the "loyal/builder" audience will stay around while the "couch" viewer will watch for awhile and move on to a new interest. Bottom line, you don't need to be "expert" at everything from day one. So, my "simple" advice would be "keep doing what you're doing, add whatever you want but keep the mix between your personal interests/stuff and the commercial stuff. ;o)

Takes time to gain skill and you have to keep at it admittedly doing some stuff wrong to get to the point you can do it right. I'm here watching no matter what but early ford content is my favorite. Keep up the good work. You tube is hard to figure out my work is constantly working on that also

I think your thoughts on 'shifting' to featuring your personal build (start to finish) could really help. As I have said before, I get quickly bored by swap meet & barn find videos and I especially get annoyed by content providers that start on a personal project and never actually complete it. So, maybe that will work because we can enjoy the journey with you. Your custom '36 work was wonderful and I could only have wished for the project to continue but, that was your job but, the content was amazing! Carry on with producing the 'special' work you do and yes, the personal project journey would keep me personally engaged. Love the '40 - looking forward to you making it 'yours'!

I have one of these that's for sale also. A California car with exactly "0" "lightening" (rust) and the original paint with some primer over parts of it. Almost NO metal damage and the chassis has been updated with independent front suspension, parallel leaf rear suspension, a 327 that I transplanted from my 57 Chevy, a 2004R automatic overdrive (new) and a 373 - 8" Ford rear end. New 2K+ exhaust system, tilt column, power rack steering, new 12V gauges, disc/drum brakes, new fuel tank, new stainless brake lines. has all the glass and trim pieces. Some of the interior. I have other projects and i'm getting too old to finish it so it's for sale for 25K. Let me know if you're interested. This one gives you the flathead. Mine would be a "keeper" when finished. I have had it since the mid eighties.

Travis, I will admit I come here mainly for the metal fab work. Look at what you achieved with the 37 sedan delivery and the 36 roadster. Very impressive, but I also enjoy you working on your own projects. But, it is your channel, not ours, so you need to do what you think best, however please keep posting the metal work, Michael

Travis, I can never get enough of your metal work. You still have to do the customer cars, how about two channels? Personal project cars and metal fab on customer cars. Either way, I’m watching whatever you post every day. Keep up the excellent work 👍

Great to follow along your channel. My buddy "Crosby" said he got into old cars for fun and profit. That 31 Phaeton sure had The Look... but look what you have now. We had a 41 Pontiac 2 door for many years... the Pre War Cars really were special. Good luck with this one. And who doesn't like that motor!!!👍

I was a little older than your kids when my parents bought a used '40 Ford four-door. They drove it until 1951 when they traded it for a low-mileage '50 Ford.

not sure if this is helpful but if I look at your videos when I'm not logged in I see zero thumbs up and either 0 or 15 thumbs down. Thumbs up ratio gets normal (10%ish of views) if I log into KZbin. You make really content and I've learned a bunch from you. Thanks

Do you know if the flatties distributor advance is working properly? If it's hard to get rolling it may not be advancing properly and because they use that strange air brake device, not many folks know how to get them to work. Most Ford garages in the flattie era had a test stand to set the distributor so all you had to do was bolt it on and in minutes the distributor was ready for work.
