I enjoy Harrison’s content but you know damn well the average shoe collector has no opportunity to trade up the way he does in this video. I have listed a few reasons why I believe this is unlikely in most cases. First off, shoe buyers likely do not have $600-$800, to buy the Travis Scott’s, 2. They do not have the time, money, or availability to visit multiple stores, 3. They do not have connections with the owners of these shops, 4. They cannot afford to lose a coin flip in which they take a loss. 5. Owners of these sneaker shops agree to trades, because they are receiving free advertisement in the videos. When the odds are stacked in your favor it becomes so much easier to be successful in your endeavors. Harrison seems like a good man so I am not trying to bash him. It is the same way with most of the successful KZbin content creators. I am just identifying the advantages he had in the trade up process.

He has said on multiple occasions that these trades aren’t realistic for the average sneaker head. That the store gets publicity for participating which acts as payment for the loss. Just enjoy the content :)

He has often said in his other videos that he obviously gets good trades because of the relationships he has, and the exposure for the retailer. we are all good with this. It makes for fun content and I think most of us aren't worried about Harrison having "the odds stacked" because he has earned it. Imagine how hard he's worked to get here. No one cares if most of us can't do this. It's fun to watch.
