Those Japanese Famicom bits are INSANELY cheap if you go through a Japan Proxy Service like Sendico or Buyee. I got a New in box Power Glove shipped to the UK for under £80 Works with the standard NES with a simple adapter. The bargains you can get if you go direct are awesome. Resellers are clearly making a huge profit on these once they get them in.

I traded some original TMNT loose figures for a loose copy of Chrono Trigger. I love both but I really didn't want to drop hundreds on a copy of the game but it is my favorite game. TMNT figs seem more likely to come across easy and cheap vs that game so I am happy.

I'm sure no one will read this, but I found 4 unpunched CARDED He-Man from 1982 at a garage sale two summers ago. Older man was asking $2.50/each. I almost immediately sold them on eBay (auction style) for $180 each. HONESTLY, I wish to God that I would have kept them...truly one of those things that I will NEVER find in the wild again!!
