Trade options are complicated derivatives. Don’t trade options before you fully understand how they work. In this video, time decay and volatility contraction were not mentioned and they could be the reasons of losing money even if the price goes in the right direction. If you’re a new trader/investor and watching this video, just take your time to ask yourself this question: how do I improve my trades to make better profits?

SMA, EMA, VWAP, Fibonacci etc may be useful but stocks can go in any direction abruptly at any point mostly based on news, good or bad. The best indicator to go by is your gut feeling which is more accurate 90% of the time. Just my 2cents.

Does it essentially show you the PRICE that most of the volume was bought at during the day? So if the stock is trading for 5 dollars and VWAP is around 10 Dollars, most of the shares held had been purchased for 10 dollars on avg?

Just keep in mind, it's mostly an indicator after the fact, and not always accurate to predict future trends.

I only use VWAP, EMA 200, and volume... oh and I rub my magic lamp. lol The less you have cluttering your screen, the better (surprise-surprise!)

@@maegraceordeniza917 < They are all Moving Average indicators with different values. Some people prefer one over the other, I found that the less you have cluttering the screen, the better you can concentrate on the price action. VWAP, MA9, and EMA200 are a perfect balance.

How does VWAP or any other volume based indicator works with Forex where the volume data you retrieve is not the real volume like you get when trading through an centralized exchange. At best you get the volume based on ticks and that even only for your own broker which would again not give a clue about the real volume across the whole forex market.
