Thanks for the awesome tutorial! As a beginner level person, I ran into an issue with the JSON payloads. TV (and JSON validation tools) didn't like the very first and last bracket in the payload code. Once I removed them, TV accepted the payload without error. Hope this helps the other newbs out there.

Thank you so much for this video, and all of your videos. I went from basic understanding of code, to being comfortable working with Python, and standing up all of these different connections and commands. I have gotten to the point where this works, but only once. Even though asyncio is checking, and receiving trade messages, IB doesn't post them after the first order. I have to stop broker.py and start it again, and then it posts 1 more order. I am thinking there is something IBKR is doing to stop the active API connection or something. Just curious if you ran into that at all. I will be watching and coding more with you these are crazy informative!

Wow. This is great stuff! Thanks. I have a couple Forex strategies I would like to automate. Could you do a tutorial using a tradingview strategy, like MACD, with Autoview? One that uses indicator conditions to BUY/Sell, TP, as opposed to a flat TP/SL? For example, the macd reaches a certain value and the close isopen, to buy, and TP when MACD crosses a certain threshold? I have played with autoview but not getting what I really want. :)

Any solution for when comp goes to sleep to run cron jobs on tradingview website directly, because as soon as comp goes to sleep it just stops any trading view alerts from processing because website does not get cron job, I have a Mac but have no idea how to solve this ? please help :(

i got it working but when i test it using insomnia, it posts the order to the interactive brokers and adds it to the dashboard, but any order after doesnt get added to interactive brokers until i restart the broker.py file. What could be causing it to buy only once?

Hello all. Not sure if anyone is having the same issue, but I can place x1 order perfectly fine on IBK via TV, but I cant place anything after the first one. I have to stop then restart the 'broker.py' script so I can place another. The script still keeps running and I can see the webhook message come in from the 'broker.py' terminal for the second order, but for some reason no second order is executed. Have tried changing symbols(so the second order message data looks different), changing the order number ,Wireshark captures, checking IBK API logs,(shows no second order coming in) Either 'broker.py' is not sending to IBK after the first one, or IBK is rejecting the order. However API logs on IBK would show this being rejected. So Im assuming its the script. Any ideas?

I have the same issue. When trying to send the second order from Insomnia, I see in the broker.py prints that the message was excepted and the order was sent to the broker through ib_insync 'placeOrder' method, but nothing happens in TWS. Only after reseting the broker,py I can submit another order to IB (only one order). Someone knows how to overcome this issue? Thanks

I have the same issue. Order is keep recording on server trade. db using Sqlite. However, order will not execute after first one until reconnect IB. either market order or limit order are not ordering after first one. Have Tried Sanic + Ib_insync and Flask + radis + ib+insync both are not ordering after first one.. can anyone please help ? I am assumeing if all other has same issues ?
