I was a second grade student at the 'old' Verner Elementary when it was across from Bryant-Denny. I remember seeing Bryant's funeral procession pass by, out there freezing. Saw Bryant's last win at Bryant Denny, which was against Cincinnati. Been through the Perkins years...Curry..Stallings...then the succession of ...well, Mike Shula did set up Van Tiffin's kick, even if he wasn't much of a coach,. Loved going to games with my Dad. RDT! Also, UA class of 1997.

Long time Crimson Tide fan. That will never change. I remember most of these plays vividly. I’m even blessed to be in attendance of some of these games. My favorite game was 1990 at Legion Field. I was in attendance with my dad,(RIP2011), my husband and my brother. I just leaned over and told my husband, “we need to sack White.” Second play of the game, Holdbrooks went at him like a train that lost its brakes! When Byron Holdbrooks stood up and showed his guns, none of us sat down the rest of the game. We all had no voices either. I’m a 62 woman who loves football more than shopping! Roll🐘Tide. All day,every day…….
