I love that you are not afraid to make (permanent) modifications to a piece of expensive gear. I believe I have posted before that I am a huge fan of Jason Hunt and CampCraft Outdoors (no relation) and I own, use and enjoy a lot of their gear. I also buy it for gifts when I can. But the one hesitation I had in investing in that rucksack was the flap closure mechanism. I’m sure the clips helped keep the cost down. But I like straps for fastening the hood and don’t have the tools, know how or guts to attempt adding them. So I commend you that you did! They look great! As always, thank you for sharing your outdoor adventures. Thank you for reminding us all that nature is tangible proof of God’s unchanging wisdom, sovereignty and goodness. And that we were created to value and enjoy the blessings God bestows upon us while also sharing those gifts and experiences to further God’s kingdom. You do that well.

Before I was saved I put all my hope in my family. I put all my love in my marriage and my wife passed away in 2011from a heart transplant 😢 I didn't have any backup plan I didn't have any hope or love 💔 in 2018 I gave my life to Jesus and have a joy and peace that can not be lost ! Everything I lost I have gained back in abundance! ❤ I was kinda stuck in a romans 7 life and all I had to do was flip a page now I live a romans 8 life ❤️

Cold Handle skillets are easy to come by...if you don't mind paying big money! Dave Canterbury will sell you one but they're like $70 USD or more. I scoured flea markets and consignment shops for years and eventually found a few, one only $5. They're nice. BUT you might consider the Pathfinder skillet he's making now, brand new carbon steel skillet with a folding handle, like a modern version of the Cold Handle but new and affordable. Great kit you have!
