I have used Chinese medicine for years when science failed me. I got a tongue diagnosis which was surprisingly accurate for someone who hardly asked me any questions and knew very little about my medical history (she didn’t speak English) Acupuncture is just amazing. I would recommend it to EVERYONE (an acupuncture RP would be great)

C'est Moi I had a phobia of needles b4 I did acupuncture, u hardly feel the needle as it’s so fine, and it’s very very relaxing. It helped me in many ways as I was having on going treatment for something and on one session I went in with a migraine and by the end of it the migraine was gone! It works by stimulating your nerves and pressure points. My sessions usually involved 30-40 mins acupuncture, followed by a 20 min Tui Na massage which stimulates the circulatory and nervous system. Also supplemented with Chinese herbal tea. After a session I feel really energised and ur body feels very light. My acupuncturist was a very sweet lady from Beijing, she was an anaesthetist there and told me that acupuncture was used as an anaesthetic for open heart surgery very successfully! It’s amazing stuff

C'est Moi I’ve gone for several reasons like neck pain, headaches, and insomnia. Most recently when I was pregnant, it helped me to lower my blood pressure. Cupping is also pretty common with acupuncture. They light a fire in a glass jar which then creates a vacuum. Basically it’s like a big hickey and it looks like an octopus gave you a hug but it doesn’t hurt.

F R you can’t avoid it in medication, I don’t agree with it and I think there are alternatives, the aim is to reduce cruelty as much as possible which is what I try to do, what do you do to help animals? Chinese medicine is holistic, and a lot of the time pointless it cures nothing, I don’t see why endangered animals should die for a bit of fake eczema cream
