I use grammes so it's easier for me to put my recipes in them. Cups etc leave too much to chance depending on the size of a cup. They vary from country to country lol

Hi Gaelle I prepare my cake about 6 weeks before Xmas. If you're going to make it then I would try this week. The longer it can be left the better. Is treacle the same as molasses?

It's the same as blackstrap molasses. Hope this helps treacle has a slightly bitter taste whereas molasses is sweeter.
