A traditional Hakka hill song | 客家山歌 about love between a man and woman.
These songs were used as a method of courting between young men and women. Since Hakka historically lived in hilly areas, these songs were also used as a form of communication at a distance as the melody of Hakka songs tended to have a higher pitch so that the sound could travel farther.
