Great video! My go to tutorial when I attempt to string traditional. 3 tries so far......Today I strung a STX Golden Highwall. Turned out to be a 5 diamond due to the limited side wall holes. Thanks for the knowledge Connor.

Hi Connor, this is my first trad and I'm working on a clutch 2x and skipping 2 holes, but I came across a situation where I need to skip one hole for the sidewall to fit for the 6d trad. Would that small change affect the outcome of the stringing?

Guys should I do a Pita pocket or a traditional? I feel a Pita is a lot easier to string because you're working in sections.

It depends on how good the traditional is! To play attack, you want a CONSISTENT pocket above all else. Make every pass accurate! So if you have a great trad, or a great mesh, go with that!

how do you get rid of lip on a pita pocket? my pocket is really tight and has good room for the ball to move and then when it gets closer to release its looser and i think that's the problem but i'm not sure how to fix this problem

i'd say it's split. It is really up to the player. Most people say trad is better, and it has more hold and consistency, and i'd agree, but there is nothing wrong with mesh.

Try tightening the crosslace on the outsides of your pocket, especially up near the top. This will pull the pocket wider up top. Also try tightening your outer leathers just a little bit, then pound the pocket in again.

JimaLax is good, but I hear a lot of guys get the Stringers Shack traditional kit. Whatever you do, don't get the STX one on Lax.com or LacrosseMonkey. Stuff is brutal.
