Preferably, sieve the flour and mix it in a cup of melted ghee to a lump free paste and then add into the sugar syrup. You don't have to keep breaking it with a spatula multiple times. Great recipe.

Hi Mam…I tried this for my kids..when adding the ghee it become thick and hardening..but manage to off the fire and diluted it but did not come to the consistency that you had when it’s ready…did u off the fire when u add the ghee and once it’s mixed then u on the fire?

No , keep the fire low, try it again, follow the method, it is a difficult sweet to make, but you can do it👍

Ribbon pakoda looks very oily. Also, I will not use non-stick pan for oil frying for health reasons.
