Interesting results as I swore I heard Jeff Phillips say that, all else being equal, a one piece bow should shoot faster than a takedown, but these results were the opposite 🤔

I would think it would have more to do with the length of the limb not whether it’s a takedown or one piece shorter limb should equal more speed

i am curiuos why the one peice bow shot an arrow 20 fps less than the take down bow...when the arrows where the same on both bows...

The 20 fps difference was when he switched back to the hunting weight arrow (10gpp) from the target weight arrow (8gpp). At a given arrow weight, the takedown bow shot about 5 fps faster. Which is unusual, but not a big difference at all.
