Traditional shaving vs Philips OneBlade Pro

Hello.
I've tried a few products to hold long hair without residue and keep it manageable and so far I'm not satisfied with the results. Therefore, I have decided to record how the products that I have look like, and try the ones that you recommend, with the aim of finding the definitive product.
And what would this be? For me, it would be the one that gives volume to fine hair, that fixes, that offers a natural look, and that sets the hair back without the (so dreaded) typical line in the middle of jesus christ.

Have same problem with oneblade. No matter direction or new/used blade, it’s always miss some hair. In a barbershop I always hear what my hair is hard to cut even with new razor blade. It’s genetic, you have strong hair and that it.

I use the Norelco Oneblade and it shaved me closer than that. You might need to use more pressure. You don’t have to worry about it cutting you when you press against the skin harder.

I put more pressure, I used new blades.... But the result is always the same. The oneblade is perfect for shaping or reducing the volume of the beard, in my opinion, but if you want a close shave? For me, the razor is the choice.

Nothing beats traditional razor for closeness. Smoothness depends on your technique with traditional razor. Electric razors are for people the want things done quickly and with a good enough look.

Thank you. I think the 1 minute format is perfect, and that's why I predict a good future for KZbin Shorts, Tiktok and other platforms with a similar philosophy. I definitely think that this format is here to stay and will continue to grow. There are things that obviously can't be shown in 1 minute. But making a 15 minute video for something that can be taught/shown in 1 minute or less? Ok. I respect that. Everyone has their own way and or interests. But I have to admit in a world where we tend to have little free time, it's not ideal. But well, it also seems to be what some platforms reward. Hi, I have a stiff hair type. Right now I have a choice of Rockwell 6c or oneblade pro. The goal is smoothness. I already have a machine, it's cheap. Why do I want to upgrade? - I am not comfortable shaving with it as my hair is stiff and because of this the blade clings to a small hair. Also, the small hairs still remain. I've changed blades (different companies) but nothing has helped... so I'm wondering if a more expensive machine (Rockwell 6c) or an electric razor will solve my problem. (By little hair, I mean stubble. I don't like to grow a beard. I shave one or two days at a time).

Hi, I'm sorry I can't help you with the Rockwell 6c. I haven't had one and I don't know anyone close to me who has or used one. About the OneBlade... all I can tell you is to judge by the video. In my opinion, for shaving, always use a blade. For trimming beards... the OneBlade will work for you, but I personally find it slow and not as powerful as I would like.

I'm sorry, but I haven't owned the S9000. In fact, I've never used that type of razor. What I can tell you is that the 360 is not going to give you a close shave, far from it. My father has always used a razor similar (not the same) to the s9000. His shave was pretty close, he used it daily. But then he discovered modern razors with 4 blades, and switched to them. When he saw that I was using a blade that was used when he was young, he laughed at me. I argued that with one box of blades you had several years' worth, compared to the four-blade heads he uses, which have to be thrown away and replaced. But he's still happy with his razor, and I'm happy with mine.

I honestly can't tell the difference between shaving without any product and shaving with shaving cream. But I'll make a video to show you. And about the cuts... like everything in life, it's a matter of practice. You may have to be a little more careful when the razor blade is new, but... when you advance from young Padawan to Jedi master, you'll rarely cut yourself. The mustache area is usually the most problematic for me.
