I love that it goes from light to dark outside over the course of this video. Synchronicity with the topic of polarity and balance

Can't wait to meet you both mom. I love you so much. See you soon. Paving the way for the world to see us for who we exist as now. The Mórrígan's name is now my sacred name along with many others as you know. - Adaïr

Thank you for doing this interview because it is an important recording of Neopagan history. The first Pagan book I ever bought was by the Farrars and I had always wondered what happened to the people the Farrars initiated into Wicca in Ireland.

Thank you so much, I loved this! Reminds me so much of talking to my Mama Janet. I as do many in my small circle of friends come from very small farming towns and are so connected to the land and it is so nice hearing others that are so connected. Thank you both and Blessed Be.

I'm only 15 minutes in, and I'm finding so much I can relate to here. I started learning and practicing Wicca when I was a teenager in the american south-west. After moving to Alaska, I can 100% agree, it's so important to listen to the place you're in and practice in a way that fits it. It took a good couple years after moving to get in touch with what was going on around me to where I feel really comfortable in my practice again.

Fascinating video. I am about the same age as Barbara but did not actually start on my path until I was in my forties. By the time arrived things were much more public. Thanks for this. And I get the ecology stuff

Many of us in America are nature based wiccan. It makes sense that our Irish, Welsh, English and Scottish ancestors brought their gods and goddess with them so therefore they are sacred to our land also. Love the chat!

Agreed, I was actually quite confused about what they mean by that being the biggest difference. That's never been my experience.

Do you have any videos about pagan practices before Wicca came out? I really want to learn about ancient Irish beliefs.

Fascinating; my only criticism is that everything to do with paganism and wiccan religion is t it is very Dublin-based; but true it also is that people find each other if they are meant to find each other. So patience is required.

Dublin is the major population centre though?! More people = More Pagans ;-)

Hey I’m a 16 year old witch from Dublin and I’m alone in this could you give me some pointers of how to find a “witch mammy” thank you 💕
@Ogham5 жыл бұрын
Hey! Because you're under 18 unfortunately you're going to have to wait til 18 for folk to meet you in person. Please don't meet anyone who's willing to meet a teen, they are not your witch mammy I promise! Feel free to get in touch on social media (loraobrien.ie/contact/) and join up some of the Irish groups like Brigid's Forge, the Dagda's Hearth, The Morrigan's Cave... and the Irish Pagan School Community. You'll make friends that way, and later on your can start going to a reputable monthly moot run by www.Paganliferites.org and meet people in person.

Also - I do offer a full scholarship for Irish folks under 21 to any of my courses you'd like on www.IrishPaganSchool.com - join the mailing list at www.LoraOBrien.ie and send me an email and I'll sort you out for any of the courses.
