this is so rare nowadays..So rare that even after 30 years of being a Sri Lankan I never get to taste pol mallum(sambol) made with such perfection.And obviously the coconut sweets must be so tender and balanced. What we see as luxuries seems to be just materialistic nuisance when compared with the peace and harmony these villagers experience everyday.They have sisters who make them best meals with so much love while we never get to taste a good fucking tea.. So much to say but thanks guys at least seeing all this made my day..Wonderful team work especially the camera,Audio mixing and even the subtitles done with perfection ❤️❤️

Di Jombokan, Wates, Kulon Progo, DIY, Indonesia, familii sy membuat pengeringan kelapa berupa panggung rendah dikelilingi bata disemen sebagai tungku dgn arang tempurung kelapa. Kelapa cungkil dihamparkan di lantai bambu yg renggang2 ukuran 4x5 m. Selain itu jg dgn cara dijemur dgn sinar mentari di halaman luas yg disemen.

Kelapa kering atau kopra,dijual di pabrik minyak kelapa utk digiling diperas minyaknya. Ada cara tradisional membuat minyak kelapa, yaitu dr santan kelapa segar yg direbus sehingga menghasilkan minyak goreng yg enak & gurih serta residu yg disebut blondo,seperti lemak yg enak dimakan dgn ditambahi bumbu, cocok utk lauk. Atau bisa dipres dan dibiarkan terfermentasi menjadi kethak yg bisa diolah utk makanan. Membuat minyak secara tradisional yg lain tanpa direbus adalah kelapa segar diparut diberi bahan tertentu sebagai katalisator sehingga keluar minyaknya.
