Sabonis gotta be the most disrespected all star and All NBA player imo. 20-13-8 as a center, 61% from the field, one of if not the best rebounder in the league, and most importantly helped the Kings get out of the longest playoff drought IN SPORTS! The way some fans talk about him however you'd think he's a bum.

I'm really not a Trae Young Fan but the NBA wants to get away from the trash talking players cause everything has to be Family Friendly. But blame the players for that with all tge dapping and hugging there are no more rivalries everyone is friends and pals. In this era where its easier to get big stats.I would say it does matter if it’s not effecting winning it doesn’t matter especially if your not top 8 or 9 in your conference…you play to win the game in any sport.. unless your curry or lebron who gets the benefit of the doubt

@momsonreview so using your own logic, Steph Curry should NOT be All-Star either? Because Trae has a better case, USING YOUR LOGIC. Trae: 27p/11a/1.5st/59%TS 22 wins Steph: 28p/5a/0.8st/63%TS 21 wins Trae's stats are better and he wins more

Talk to me when he plays defense. He really had one chance in his career for lucky bs to get him a playoff run. Unfortunately for him, it happened to be in his third year. He’s not reaching a conference championship again and the hawks should consider trading him sooner rather than later but idk if ppl are ready for that talk.

@@Sproles11 I’ll be honest, I haven’t. But watching him the first 4 years of his career, what haven’t I seen him do that he’s gonna do? He’s shot somewhat efficiently, he’s shot inefficient at times. He’s great at free throws, underrated at playmaking, and is a system like many pgs before him. He also refuses to play defense, is too short to be good even if did try to defend, and hasn’t led to success besides the Ben Simmons saga. He’s also had how many coaches this quick into his career? Quin Snyder is a borderline elite coach and they still aren’t winning, at what point do you give up on him?

@@havocch6508 admitting you haven’t watched is a start. If you’re going to speak on him, watch him. He has been playing defense. Can name multiple games this year where he has saved us with defensive plays late. Paolo Banchero and JJ Reddick were just on the podcast talking about how much he improved defensively, and Paolo said he had to stop going at him one game this year because it wasn’t working. Calling him an underrated playmaker is the understatement of the century. He has never been worse than 4th in APG in his whole career and has led the league in total assists each of the last two years. In a few games, he’ll be eligible for all-time stat categories with the NBA. He’ll be 4th all time in APG. Sure the Hawks haven’t had loads of success. Every playoff series they’ve lost has been against a team CLEARLY better than them. Trae has never played with an all-star. Every team they lose to has multiple all-star caliber players. That’s not Trae’s fault. Trae has had 3 coaches. Lloyd Pierce was a 1st time head coach and NOBODY has had a single bit of interest in him since he was fired. Sounds like he wasn’t great at his job. Nate McMillan is an average coach at best who was only supposed to be an interim coach. He then tried to quit mid-season and eventually got himself fired. Also still not close to a head coaching job. I’ll end this how I started this. If you don’t watch, don’t speak on it. You’re basing your opinions off of dumb narratives, also from people who don’t watch the hawks. If you’re interested in answers to your questions, use your eyes.

Trae Young needs to start winning some games. The coaches obviously feel like Maxey should of got the nod over him because of the wins and breakout this year. Now whether you agree or not is a decent argument. Still taking Donovan, Haliburton, Brunson, and even Dame over Trae at this point though.

@@Regalieth9143 is on a much more winning team, has broke through as a reliable scorer with good enough playmaking ability, tries on defense, and doesn't require everything to be built around him. The coaches see this and put him in which I can't argue with.. Will it be the same story every year? Maybe not but Trae has to deal with that or change something to start winning at a high level or to make the coaches put him in there first. You're the goofy one for not understanding this simple shit.

Trae Young just qualified for the All Time scoring list recently after scoring 10,000 career points. He’s 12th ALL TIME and only 4 active players are ahead of him (Luka, Embiid, KD, Bron) He is about to finally qualify for the All Time Assists leaders after his 400th played game where he will be 4th ALL TIME behind Magic Johnson, John Stockton, Oscar Robertson. He’ll be 1st among active NBA players. He’s quietly making a undebatable HOF case and somehow can’t make the All Star team… shame on the NBA

Young Mustard, fans have always been stupid, they just want whatever is flashy and sells shoes. It's easy to see, Trae Young doesn't put effort in playing good defense or being a good teammate (A few of them have spkoen against Trae). There's a long list of 6 footers who played great defense. Off the top of my head John Stockton and Chris Paul, at least they CARED. Players and Media didn't vote for the dude. Trae Young - fans voted him 2nd but media and players voted him 7th. It's simple, that's why he didn't make the starting lineup. Coaches vote for the bench, they game plan against him. They see the talent but also see the lack of effort (Last in defensive plus minus 3 of the last 4 years....out of all of the players in the NBA lol), couple that with his reputation for being a coach killer. He'd have to turn the Hawks around except, they're losing too. They were 5 games below .500 when the votes went in. This shit isn't new, Monta Ellis put up numbers and couldn't get in the All-star game for very similar reasons. Also stop being SOFT, there are only 12 roster spots. If you want your "snub" in the game then say who he should replace. Make the case instead of taking the easy way out. If you actually follow the NBA then you wouldn't be so surprised. I mean the dude was left off the 40 man USA roster a couple years ago and I'd say that was way more surprising. Player poll at the beginning of last season had Trae Young The Most Overrated Player in the NBA by 58%. So that's Players, media and coaches right? No Trae Young fan will respond to any of that because you don't want facts. So Keep your head in the sand as FANatics do.
