Yes we hate giddey but he is also a bad player. The only thing this man can do is pass, that’s it. He ruins the spacing, he allows the defence to double Shai, JDub and Chet bc he can’t shoot, he’s a bad defender, not even that efficient from 2 to make up for the 0 shooting he provides, and quite literally all of his stats are down this year besides the 3PT% and FT% and the 3PT% is still well below league average. All of his advanced stats also point to he is an average player at best to a borderline liability everywhere at worst. He is well below league average in TS%, which factors in every shot and what they’re worth. Also all of his BPMs suggest that he provides basically nothing on both sides of the floor, same with his WS, and look at his league adjusted shooting too, all of them are below average and he is a negative in both FG added and TS added. And while he is good from 10-16 ft from the rim (despite basically zero attempts) he is a bad mid range shooter. He can’t consistently create shots for himself and has an awful handle. He should be a rotation player at best, not a starting player on a championship contender

@@sir.muffiniii7011as okc everything you said is what I Been saying since last year but I get called a hater then every time Giddey has a decent game giddey fans come to talk about how important he is when he isn’t Now I will say that he is being played out of position and being play a bad role that doesn’t fit him as well which is another reason he isn’t playing well

@@sir.muffiniii7011 Yeah Giddy is having a bad year but not by that much. Last year he was 16/7/6 on 48/32 splits ; yeah not the best but not something you give up on. Do you know how many teams who love to have a player like this. His potential is sky high. Like I said y'all are mad for something y'all think he did and wasn't punished for it. OKC sees Giddy's potential and isn't going to throw it away. All Giddy has to do is work on his efficiency which is doable with him being a third year player at 21 years old. Life isn't 2k. There was going to be an adjustment adding Chet.
