"If there is a war on drugs then many of our family members are the enemy & I don't know how you wage war on your own family" ~ oh, I felt that! 😔✨

I love this scene so much. When he gives up on that speech, it's like he burned off the last of his rhetoric and become and ordinary person, and finally he sees the issue with clarity. When he walks out it's like he's being released from prison.

When drug problems hit home, the game rules change when the ones we care for and love are affected!
@b0x1n9f4n4 жыл бұрын
Jeffrey Richardson isn’t it like that with everything? We’re so quick to judge until it is us or the one’s we love we must judge, then our high-n-might ly stances take a backseat. A drug addict, a prostitute, a homeless person, these people aren’t worth shit until they are people you love and care about.

The saddest thing about this scene is how utterly unrealistic it is because no one in politics would ever say this shit. Painful how no one in leadership will ever say the truth.

I'm all for legalizing drugs like weed, shrooms, ecstasy, maybe even LSD. BUT I'd be pretty fucking uneasy if people could stroll into an outlet and legally buy crack cocaine, meth or heroin. Very uneasy.
