Hello everyone, Iam the main traffic officer at the round about for this event, I was in control of the whole roundabout operation, the main cause of traffic was vehicle trying to get access and leaving the car parks, also taxies and vehicles stopping on the way, this could te reason of the traffic around this area.

Day to day commuters? Royal Ascot is always busy as many people drive to the races, causing tailbacks. It’s one week a year and brings money to Ascot, so not a problem. When I lived down the road I went to the races every year without fail. If you live there, you know what you’re in for!
