Most people don't know all that Jim Capaldi brought to Traffic = he wrote all the lyrics, played drums, percussion, sang lead and backing vocals, brought in outside musicians like Jim Gordon, the muscle shoals rhythm section He also came up with the name for the band!!!

THERE WAS NO ONE LIKE STEVE WINWOOD. I remember listening to this album when I was 31 and diggin it big time. Now, I am in awe of him. Truly one of the best musicians ever. The entire band is friggin phenomenal. WOW!!

Amazing! I love Traffic and most of Winwood's music. I remember first hearing one of their albums in 1968 I was 14 years old. It felt like something awesome.

Holy moly!!! You’re acquainted with Sea Level?!!!!! My son found my album and loved it! He was a musician. He passed away @ 35yo in my arms heart attack but he loved sea level. Thank you you for entry to remind me. I have me so much vinyl including John Barleycorn. You made my night. I’m turning 64 in a couple weeks and my son and I were huge Beatles and people. We would sing When I’m 64 together and I truly didn’t expect he wouldn’t be around to sing it with on my birthday. Music was one of our passions !

I have loved traffic since I first heard them at the age of 10.I really do miss Chris wood, though. I am a great lover of heavy metal/extreme metal, but ever so often I listen to my dose of traffic... R I P, Rebop kwaku baah, Chris wood and more recently, Jim capaldi.You are missed, always. I can only hope you are living on in a better dimension...

This was the jam back in the day..... u would hear this all OVER Central Park and out of neighbors windows. I lived on the upper west side for years West 81st St, West 86th St, and W96th Street. This music takes me back to those years before I joined the military.

WOWWW!!! You hear and see some of these instruments more specifically and I never saw some of these instruments the guy on the tom toms with the wind chimes, the triangle and the cowbells was playing. The orchestration is AMAZING!!! The flute. The way Winwood plays the piano. Those incredible panoramas made you feel alive too.
