Perspective bias. If all you ever consume is media showing you one thing, then you think that's all that exists. In reality, a significant majority of police encounters during traffic stops never result in tickets, escalated conversations, or physical contact. I know that may be hard to believe with the News and KZbin shoving police brutality clips down your throat all year long but it's a statistical minority and rarely happens.
