Fantastic insight into this topic. I enjoyed listening to her journey and learning ❤. She makes an excellent point about identity and labeling. I think that is key to letting go.

It gives me chills. I was a vulnerable teen in a third world country. I was lucky! I know I got out of situations without really knowing I was doing so. I can’t believe I wasn’t trafficked. I was so vulnerable and naive

Thank you so much for sharing your story. It gives me confidence and faith to think that if other women have not only managed to get ahead, but they have also managed to recover their name and identity, maybe one day I'll be one of them. I appreciate it.

Such a powerful story! I wish this video had more views because Megan's journey is tremendous and is the experience of many others we pass on the street every day. My heart breaks for young men and women that are exploited and forced to live in this waking hell of an industry, but her faith in God has carried her to new heights and formed a new legacy for her family. Saving her own mother, hallelujah! So beautiful and very inspiring ❤️ I have watched my relatives and siblings battle with addiction, lost my brother in-law in April of this year due to his struggle with alcoholism, and I pray to God to keep his children and all of my nieces and nephews away from this dark underbelly of our society. God bless Miss Megan and the work she's doing, being the hands and feet of Jesus 💕🙌🏽

This is a story of extreme co-dependency and it seems like the storyteller has some insight into to how she got into this situation. I still have a little difficulty identifying completely with the victim probably because I had a relatively normal childhood and because a frustrating situation with a family member, a very co- dependent cousin. She married and has stayed with a disgusting man for 40 years. The first time I met him I already could not stand him. He abused her daughter and she chose him over her daughter. I know it's a personality disorder my cousin has but it also is a personality disorder where you do things to hurt other people just because you are so addicted to a person. My cousin has always been quite capable of supporting herself financially but and there have always been family willing to help but she chooses this demon influenced person.
