This video is so well made! The narrative, narration, the visuals. Brother Bennett’s passionate telling of the saga of displaced Latter-day Saints is supreme.

Many of my ancesters were among those pioneers. We know of 28 different families that we know of. One was a body guard for Joseph. One was in the Morman battalion. I am truly grateful and blessed to be a member of this family and the only true church

Shout out to this VIP treatment at the Winter Quarters museum. When I’ve gone, a Sister missionary has always given me a tour, but for your content you got a priesthood holder. Nice! 👍

My ancestor, Amy Porter is buried at Winter Quarters cemetery. It's her headstone at the base of the grieving couple statue. We live mere miles from their former homes.

Although we may not be related to the pioneers by blood... but truely by faith... without their sacrifice we would not have the great missionary work which is flooding the earth today...

It’s sad that Brigham made a most of telling the companies to pack LESS provisions.

My GGGrandfather, John Scott was assigned by Brigham Young to remain in Winter Quarters for two years to help outfit the Saints as they prepared to make the trek to Utah.

This is a really well made video! It must be so tough to research for content like this, since you are limited to only church approved history, and not from any sources outside of the church or ones that are negative of it. It must be so difficult to be a Mormon historian and create a real glimpse of events from a 360 lens. Bravo if you did!
