The saddest part was that a teacher heard a kid on the other side of the wall say "please! I don't wanna be here!" And the shooter replied saying "yeah, well you're here" and then shooting the kid. I can't believe someone would do something so terrible!

Watching this again after the Uvalde elementary school shooting. I am so angry that this has happened to more kids, teachers, families, etc. We learned nothing, we did nothing. Now at least 19 elementary school kids and 2 teachers are dead. I am angry. I am heartbroken for all the families involved. This has to stop!

I was literally 9 years old living in CT when it happened. I remember so many code reds and emergency drills in the months following. How about just locate that kid and interview him? He's a survivor, right? How about locate any of those hundreds of kids who were supposedly there that day. More than a few were so un-traumatized that their parents were down with giving multiple interviews in the parking lot on the same day immediately following the drill...er.. I meant to say shooting event, yup. Can you imagine how brave they must have been to have witnessed so much carnage with 27 dead people, mostly children, shot full of holes because ace medical examiner said they were "shot between 4-11 times each with the *long weapon" which means body parts and brains everywhere and it would've looked like a blood bomb went off in there yet those brave survivors who witnessed that horrendous scene were all shits and giggles with big smiles and their parents weren't even trippin on it and thought "Well they got out of school early so we have some extra time to do CNN, CBS, ABC, & MSNBC interviews before I take my child out of this emotional trauma scene.". There should be 100'sof those kids around Connecticut somewhere that are teens by now. If their ace parenting skills let them be interviewed that day then they should have no problems with it 7 yrs later, right? Let's meet karate boy and give him that medal of honor after the interview. Seems totally reasonable, right? 👍

y ea people keep blaming it on trump when the problem is much bigger than him . This happened during the obama administration and is still happening to date . so sad
@sh0werp0wer4 жыл бұрын
@@Teawos98 The white supremacy segment of mass shooters has increased exponentially under Trump, so that criticism is warranted, but America has always has had a massive problem with gun violence for a very long time. Shooters like Adam Lanza aren't driven by ideology or rhetoric, but are just mentally ill people who really shouldn't have easy access to guns. That's 100% down to gun policy, which Obama actually tried to change, but couldn't because of Republicans, to be perfectly fair. The other segment of extremism is a problem, especially far-right extremist which has quadrupled since Trump became president, and has made up nearly 80% of all domestic terror attack past 10 years. That's a segment that is driven by ideology and hateful, dehumanising rhetoric (invaders, infested, criminals, rapists, animals, imminent threat to you and your family) - this is all rhetoric from Trump, echoed in the El Paso shooters manifesto. That's what's worrying. He should tone down his rhetoric because people are being fucking radicalised by it, leading to even more shootings like this. The Adam Lanza people as well needs to be stopped, but they can only be stopped through gun reform and potentially mental health reform.

Oh, and there's a bullet hole on the exterior side of her classroom window. Nothing about Roig's story can be verified by actual facts. A whole decade has passed and NOTHING has changed in this country. Scary how time passes by. I still remember seeing this on the TV as a kid and how my mom who was next to me was crying as if those children were her own. Even crazier to think about how those same kids who died would've been finishing up highschool, but instead they're in a fuckin cemetery. Although I'm grateful for the blessings this country has provided for me, I can't deny that it is sick. The fact that we are now numb to these types of events is just sick. The fact that there's barely any gun reform in this country is sick. The fact that a 20 year old is able to do this to such young kids in this country is sick. WE ARE A SICK COUNTRY.

It was almost Christmas, I can’t imagine how excited those children were for that day, to wake up to presents, to see if Santa and his reindeer ate their cookies, Christmas breakfast, being around family, eating so many cookies as much as their little bodies could fit, all of that ripped away from them, ripped away from their families.

I just can’t imagine the parents who’s little ones didn’t come home. When everything was said and done they still had the wrapped presents that would never be opened or enjoyed by their little innocent angels. It’s just awful
