This song was written a few years before the bike accident that broke my back, half my ribs, a scapula, a clavicle, etc. At the time it seemed (and definitely felt) like a tragedy, but part of the long recovery was seeing the comic side of the thing. I'm a bit more careful now, but also maybe a little less likely to cry out ,"woe is me." It's fun to see you in a younger man's trim and to hear time traveling Elisa join you in the chorus. Superb reprise, Michael!

@@michaelhermiston Thanks for the kind words, Michael. I don’t connect with Taylor’s music as much, I’m an old lady who loved what the 60s and the 70’s brought us. Joni Mitchell was more the woman’s voice for my generation, but I love the fact that Taylor gets the Republican establishment here riled up, lol.
