I did not only like her music but the way she carried herself. She never forgot who she was unlike the singers out there now. I never saw her in super skimpy clothing, she did not need to use profanity in her songs, songs were clean of sexual things, she was just humble, too humble. Her humbleness was taken advantage of and that is super common in the world today. Never lost her roots and where she came from. She had money and fame but did not let it get to her head. This is why I enjoyed her music and loved her as an artist. ❤

@Donde Merlin other than her bustier she was mainly covered up. plus on stage it’s a completely different environment, a bustier isn’t really seen as sexual unless you make it that way, i can say this as i used to be a competitive dancer so i understand the on-stage world. also, she never did any sexual moves, they were more cultural, so that makes a huge difference as well. as many say, selena was classy. plus she never wore that off-stage, in her casual life she would just wear normal clothes.

Needless to say, there were several people who didn't want me to join because they would worry and didn't want anything to happen, blah blah blah. But then again, you don't have to be in the military for something bad to happen. We know what happened to Selena, and she wasn't in the military. 😠 I'll always look up to her. 💜

Jennifer Lopez did a wonderful job imitating Selena. She looked a lot like her which was eerie. It is such a needless tragedy! 💔

@@randomaccount7708 not even close, the voice on the movie was Selena’s ,JLo only did lip sync the songs …

@@randomaccount7708 Um HELL NO, JLO's voice is NOTHING compared to a real talent like Selena. Selena was a natural singer, not made up in the studio like Jennifer Lopez

She accomplished so much at such a young age, can't imagine where she'd be if she were still alive. What I want to know, didn't the Quintanilla family do a background check on that crazy Yolanda lady?

I'd barely gotten to hear her big hit song "I could fall in love" before she was gone, but have heard and purchased her music.

I was 7 when Selena was killed and two years later I watched the "Selena" movie with J. Lo when I was 9. Everytime I see her story my heart is always 💔 for her family, mainly her grief-striken father Abraham Quintanilla 😞🥀

It's bad enough she stole her money, lied and killed her but the fact that she lied about getting raped is such a slap in the face to actual rape victims

Very sad what happened to her she would’ve been huge and Still would’ve been huge house she lived longer but Selena to this day is still relevant and more popular than ever and everybody still loves her just like 2Pac Kurt Cobain people like that Elvis and Michael Jackson James Dean And Marilyn Monroe as well so Selena is up there with those people
