This is a very underrated short film. Al Nazemian played Oscar brilliantly . This short reminded me of The Others.

@patriciadelsolucas546 You are absolutely right. Al Nazemian gave an underrated performance. He brought nuance and character. Playing an introvert or someone who isolated himself isn't easy at all. I absolutely agree with you Al Nazemian did a great job because he had a great director. I don't like rewatching films and shorts but I have rewarded myself and rewatched this short film over 7 times. I wish this was a 2 hour film and I prefer my films only an hour and a half. The setting was amazing and the architectural commitment to set design and clothes was astounding. You are a talented director and producer!

Hi Patricia, I loved the film! It's so atmospheric and thought-provoking, and the character of Oscar is very deep and complex. How did you achieve this, and what was the inspiration behind his character?

I would say Oscar comes to be, partly because of the victorian literature I was reading at the time, partly because of my tribulations around the theme of unrequited or unreciprocated love, and mostly as a natural process during rehearsal time with actor Al Nazemian. We focused on portraying Oscar’s inner turmoil with as many truthful layers as possible, both of us drawing on personal experience to get there. Thanks for watching!
