We need to stop taxing people to maintain the society and reduce the cost of living in an advanced society. Is it possible that governments will step in give 500-800 USD per month to have children.

Wow. Such a vital topic and only one comment and five likes. Still, this gives me an opportunity. Steven, Kat I am currently working on this problem in a small community pilot project. If you have bandwidth to establish connections to share insight and experience, let's do that. I have taken this matter really seriously years ago - while myself and my wife had time and resources to change our lives significantly. We now have 5 children from 22 to 16. So it's not just talk or dreams. Your Birthgap film is great. You have not mentioned it in this segment. It only tells half of the story. Even 2.1 is not the sustainable replacement rate but I guess one scare at a time....

I'm not an expert on the issue, but Stephen definitely is, you can reach him on his website BirthGap or Twitter/X - I know he helps individuals to organise the screenings of the entire documentary to share the message with wider audience and start the wider discussion in the society about what's coming.

Please ask your hosts if birth rate can be solved by a better wealth redistribution system . As a student of economics and data i have come to this conclusion.

I'll ask as I'm trying to arrange a conversation with someone else on this subject, so I'm hoping to bring all the questions and common pushbacks I get about this topic. One of the pushbacks was about the wealth gap between the young and the old.

Such a gradual problem with serious implications that's why it keeps happening all over the world

I think part of the reason it stayed unnoticed as we don't see it as an issue in our daily lives, not quite yet, although I've heard some economists saying we're already dealing with some early effects of it.
