Trail Finder 2 suspension mods ! (New project at end of video)

Just a few easy mods I've done to get more flex out of my TF2, o ring mod, chino mod, and RC4WD shooter shackles.

Z boxes work with the back shackles for more flex. It's another 40 bucks but it adds a lot

Just watching this video again, if you don’t mind me asking... where did you get the shock mount for the dual shock setup/conversion for the power stroke? Absolutely love it!

Did the shackles and z boxes up front and in the back as well as removing the smallest leaf from the leaf packs. I'm getting 5 inches from the top of the wheel opening to the center of the wheel. I can flex on top of a soda can now. Nice trucks l love that older ford body where did u get it

They are both custom tamiya bodies, that is some good flex your getting, i was afraid to remove leaf for spring warp

how did you mount the bodies to the chassis? I've been contemplating getting a ford shell for mine, but I don't think the stock tf2 holes match the ford shell. I don't even see mounting points on either of your trucks. LMK, thanks

Oh yeah, I've used magnets before on a drift car, body kept popping off with slightest bumps. They were strong magnets too but it gets annoying. Not sure I wanna go that route again. I do like the other options, Thanks for the link.

When I remove the spring from the shock there is no oil in there am I supposed to fill it up with oil?

inyourearhole225 you can but they are notorious for leaking, they are really just for looks at this point, the leaf springs are your springs, in the back they act as limiters to keep the wheels from falling to far in holes of off edges

Scale Life 101 when I remove the inner spring the it drops the truck down tremendously.

Ford Fan01 I actually bought that body that way but it was built the same way as my f250, buy two cabs, cut in front of one and the back of the other then glue them together

I used very little Bondo and a CA glue is what I used don't matter the brand, also make small pieces to overlap the inside to help strengthen the joint
