I agree with you. Pollution is a bummer! Your Mom is the best! I'm 71 and don't jthink I could do as long of hikes. May a mile or 2 tops!

Thank you! I keep trying, but seems like since I had some lung thing back in May, some hikes it has been hard to catch my breath. Everything is better now since the smoke from mid summer has kind of cleared out......I don't think stuff in the air helps me a bit! We just do what we can do, right? ❤

Thanks, Evelyn. It wasn't anything bad, just was having a bit of a hard time catching my breath on that one for some silly reason. So, when Nick went to the summit, I put my head on my backpack and took a little nap! 😊

We have to agree with you on the chem trails! It's terrible and not the air we want to be breathing in. We've been on some pretty steep and rocky trails ourselves, but the beauty and the views always make the hike worth it! I hope I can still do hikes like this when Im your moms age! Kudos to her for getting out and enjoying nature!❤

I can attest to Nick’s frustration with that trail. Large portions of it are covered in golf ball/baseball/softball-sized rock. It’s like walking on a riverbed - it’s tedious!

DIA is like the sixth busiest airport in the world and all that air traffic usually comes in from the north. When I have to work in Hudson, I get to see those planes up close before they hit the runway, one after another. Nothing like the vapor trail of a jet airplane to ruin an otherwise beautiful sky. Less than photogenic, less than wilderness
@nicksangetta8874Ай бұрын
Its funny how all the flights are all at once or only on certain days.. then there are other days where I can be out there for 10 hours and hear maybe a dozen planes. On those mysterious 'non-flight days' is when we get the beautiful blue sky. Amazing how that works.
@thomasclark8119Ай бұрын
@ I suppose, but a quick google search reveals 1,600 flights out of DIA per day. That’s really astonishing. Plus we look up and probably see all those transcontinental flights in the sky as well, just traveling over those flyover states.
@thomasclark8119Ай бұрын
@ Also, it’s most likely to see vapor trails when the water vapor has a chance to crystallize in the right atmospheric conditions

This video reminds me a bit to the Beatles song "Band on the run", which same way as your experience on this outdoor chapter began quite calm and was keeping this mood for a while, once suddenly a door was opened like in your case by breaking treeline and the situation both in the song and on the trail changed fundamentally onto a somehow dramatic touch, which kept maintained to the very end of the video, which at this state is a bit different to that Beatles song which in the last part turned into a more optimistic mood. Well, those chemtrails may not improve your landscape experience, but is nevertheless one of the consequences of our modern life, which's comfortability no one wants to miss anymore. Or do you like to refrain on a comfortable access to the hiking area trailheads by car, although the streets being required for a quick approach to your outdoor destination just cut the natural landscape at least once you crossed the NP or SP lines, not to be spoken about the output by keeping a car engine working but is having an affect to the rise of global temperatures and consequently to the landscape afterwards. So in order to break all this down to one phrase: You can't have a modern life with an easy access to rewarding outdoor activities and put away the negative consequences of that which also can affect the quality of your outdoor experience.

But with one significant difference: At least on a direct view clouds are generated by natural processes, while chemtrails are directly caused by technical activities and also have a complete different appearance, which can increase the quality of your outdoor activity.

If you do your research it’s open info that it has silver iodine that causes digestive issues, skin irritation and even infertility! Those metals make it into your drinking water. I live near this area and I’ve noticed how it affects my mental clarity and health. I don’t remember voting to allow chemicals to be intentionally put into our air. We have every right to protest this
@katkatkat88888Ай бұрын
Not saying there is no such thing as chem-trails, but I hope you know that not every line in the sky is one. There is such a thing as a contrail (normal aircraft exhaust), and depending on atmospheric conditions, sometimes you can see them and sometimes you don't. Lines in the sky are not proof of chem-trails.
