Inspiring story, beautifully filmed and told, thanks, Kaytlyn and the crew at Louder Than Eleven who created this. And huge congratulations on your kick-ass -- 3rd place of the women, 44th overall (of 2795 runners!) -- finish at UTMB 2022!!

Beautiful video!! If she hadn't taken that course in college, she might never had realized she is a world class athlete. It makes me wonder what hidden talents each of us have but have never uncovered!

Very true. Those with the opportunity to be able to try things, should try everything! There are so many who are unfortunate and never get the chance. My father grew up in poverty and had to start working by the time he was 9. I brought him with me to the gym one day at the grand age of 62. Got him on a lifting program and his progress just... kept going.. and going.. and going. He actually started competing in Masters competitions regionally and won everything. His numbers are very impressive even for a young man... I can't imagine what an athlete he could have been if he had the opportunity to go to HS and college.

Thank you for uploading this video. I watch it at the YMCA while I'm doing the elliptical machine. I love your Vizsla dog. They are the best running companions ever.

Great story of an awesome trail runner. I hope to meet her one day on the trails. I’m not that far from Issaquah.

I had no idea Kaytlyn was from Wisconsin. Awesome! Me, too.
Have to laugh a little bit of them showing the Green Bay waterfront when she talks about moving to Madison. Either way, Wisconsin proud!

I fully admire the sport and the incredible athleticism it takes to do this, but goes against everything I've ever learned about respecting nature's many ways it wants to kill you... Running into the wilderness, alone, in shorts and a t-shirt with only water and maybe 1000 calories..? Regardless of athletic ability, running into wild backcountry this unprepared and expecting people to come find you when something inevitably unexpected happens, while having little, to no way to help yourself, is not fair to the all the people who have to risk their live's to come to your rescue... Am I completely off here?
