Is the install the same for the Talon 1000x?

Yes the same skid plate works on the 1000X and 1000R.

How do you install the trailing arm guards? Is there a video? Do you have to dill into the trailing arm to install the bolts?

@@DontComeToMyHouse Yes, you need to drill into the trailing arm. I actually chose not to install the trailing arm guards because of that requirement.
