Loved the aerial shots you got of the property! I was SO nervous to do that interview, but you were SO easy to talk to :), and your editor did an amazing job. I'm not actually the manager, but thanks for the kudos. "chuckle" Hopefully you can come back and see us again over the holidays?! The place is gorgeous, all decked out in Christmas Cheer.

Great to have you in Comfort! Quick edit, that you visited the Comfort Heritage Foundation instead of the chamber and we were glad you stopped in!! Great job on the video.

Comfort, A great place to visit. If you’re traveling down IH37, between San Antonio and Corpus Christi, stop in Historic Oakville. Visit the old jailhouse and the square. I grew up in Oakville and the owner of the building really did a good job fixing up the place.

Enjoyable video. Could you please add an edit as a screen caption with the correct info. regarding the Heritage Foundation that you visited. As you probably know by now, it was not the Chamber of Commerce. Most KZbinrs add these types of corrections to their videos as needed. Thanks! Great that you were able to include information regarding the support of the Union by the local German settlers. It was not easy for them.

It’s a beautiful town but, from a real estate perspective, it’s among several of the high dollar hill country towns . If you want to live there you better bring lots of cash . With many upper income folks (and there’s nothing wrong with that) moving in the prices for land and homes are through the roof . If you fit the criteria it’ll be great ……If affordability is a major deal better look more toward East Texas .

In 19 l was lokking for a home in Bandera. Had sold my home in SA and traveled a bit, then l needed a home. They were getting snatched up as fast as they came onto the market. The people from California kept the market cleaned out.

@ Californians escaping the leftist lunacy of that states current leadership has had a huge impact on the Texas hill country and the decline of inner Austin has caused many locals themselves to escape to outer areas and change those small sleepy towns to the hubs of eclectic lifestyles that Austin once was. An ongoing transformation for sure.
