Hi Chris, great videos, you mentioned the safety guys, lol I am one too. Easy way for replacing those links, lower tongue jack about 6 inches, put blocking under frame near the rear of the trailer, lift tongue jack until the weight is neutral on the springs. See you tomorrow!

Chris, how do you put up with Negative Nelley armchair commenters? Excellent patience! Keep cutting that wood!

You need to sell that piece of junk and let go of some of those Uncle Bens you have been hoarding and get you a new trailer that fits your needs and wants. In 1982 I bought a new 16' utility trailer for $575. 25 years later I sold it for $700 at auction. Did I hear you say you only had one jack. I'm sure you've hurt your tractors feelings saying that. You know you could really use a second trailer but even more your old one desperately needs a good sand blast and repaint before you throw it or give it away because it's completely knackered. All the salt on your roads has eaten the paint away and now will start eating the steel away. A paint job will be the cheapest new trailer you will ever buy.

True, but I need a bigger trailer.

@@InTheWoodyard Sorry I wasn't suggesting you don't get another because for starters you'll need it while you're getting the old one fixed.

Correct, but it was all I had and in a pinch it worked. I just redid the rest and I used a cutter.
