Hi Chris, great videos, you mentioned the safety guys, lol I am one too. Easy way for replacing those links, lower tongue jack about 6 inches, put blocking under frame near the rear of the trailer, lift tongue jack until the weight is neutral on the springs. See you tomorrow!

You will also like with the newer trailers their dump angle is higher. Customers will like that because you won’t scatter the wood so far when you dump it. Customers have said that to me that they like that.

It ain't easy! I just try and stay calm and realize they live in there own perfect world where they never show use what they do every day so we can see all there mistakes and imperfections, because they know everything! When cutting bolts, cut the bolt in 2 pieces and smash the nut off. Also Home Depot has a sale on a Milwaukee 1/2” impact gun right now for a really good price, I just got one myself

Hi Chris I wanted to let you know that the Milwaukie impact that you have will be a lot easier to get those bolts off. If you can't get them off with pb blaster and the impact going in reverse I know it has enough power to brake the bolt by over tighting it

I absolutely love your videos. You might want to check your hydraulic cylinder. It looked bent to me. It might have been the camera angle. I noticed it around the time you were talking about putting the bolt in the shackle from the other way.

I would have taken the tire off to make it easier to change. Use a Thinner cutting wheel on your grinder. Grease those shackles up good and use some kerosene and motor oil and brush your springs with this. Make sure your fix those brakes. Time for a 14ft. new Trailer.

What size do you cut your tarps down to? I cut mine to 5x9 and the silly things keep blowing up and sometimes almost off even with wood down. We have had some big storms with strong winds that would do that but man it is annoying when you think you have dry wood and it is wet.

Chris, Ok you need to quit prognosticating and get off the pot. You need to sell that piece of junk and let go of some of those Uncle Bens you have been hoarding and get you a new trailer that fits your needs and wants. In 1982 I bought a new 16' utility trailer for $575. 25 years later I sold it for $700 at auction. Over the years I did put a couple sets of tires on it, a new floor and a new coat of paint on it before the auction. You will be happy! As allows Thanks for the great videos.

I think about 80 full cords maybe, I will run out of several kinds this year. Hickory is almost gone, basswood, cherry and maple are down to only 2-3 cords, locust and birch are gone ash and oak is going fast. I still have a bunch of mixed stuff and the lower grade kinds like cottonwood,aspen,box elder.

Did I hear you say you only had one jack. I'm sure you've hurt your tractors feelings saying that. You know you could really use a second trailer but even more your old one desperately needs a good sand blast and repaint before you throw it or give it away because it's completely knackered. All the salt on your roads has eaten the paint away and now will start eating the steel away. A paint job will be the cheapest new trailer you will ever buy.
