They are all great splitters and all built well. Great seeing Bert and Gavin showed up as well. Should've let me know yiu had this beast. I've got rounds to split that would dwarf the log lift on this splitter. At best, make it look small. A vertical splitter seems to make more sense for you and the size you split than a horizontal splitter. But if taking it to the bin and conveyor, the Ultra is better. I'm upgrading to the attached conveyor model for mobile splitting jobs when can afford it.

I saw a video just the other day of a guy using a Wolfe Ridge splitter and I had to leave a comment on it because of the video. The guy that was running his wolf ridge had a 6 way and the poor wood splitter was having a hard time splitting it. The wood he was able to split was not going in the conveyor right and falling off the side instead. I had no choice but to pick out all I saw wrong in just a little over 6 minutes of watching and told him he was better off with an Easton Made. Now that Log splitter looks good for a single wedge but time will tell as you use it.
@InTheWoodyard5 ай бұрын
More knives are harder for any splitter and yes when splitting big wood stuff happens. A person has to read the wood and use the right wedge for the rounds.
