♥ I LOVE THE SMALL STEPS! ♥ I also love how you share your personal development in the process of slowing down and learning as much as you can before, instead of always "learning from my mistakes." As someone who also likes to get things done at the expense of doing them well and correctly, I greatly appreciate your transparency and honesty on this journey. AND what a fun perk to have another video out so soon!!!

I started watching your videos a million years ago for your room makeovers and you're still my favourite home improvement creator in the internets. I think demo videos are so satisfying and it's mind-blowing seeing you do all this hard work and a lot of it on your own. I don't know if you're secretely Wonderwoman but damn girl. It's so exciting to see you talk about and work on your property because I feel like your content has become just absolutely top-notch ever since you started to work on your own spaces that are unapologetically yours. It really makes me excited to watch the entire journey seeing this go from a demoed space to building and framing and making magic happen. Also, how big is your sweet little boy becoming? That's crazyyy, what a pretty pretty pup. It's so lovely to see your dogs every now and then in your videos

I'm liking this series. It's always a treat to watch you take on jobs alone , to see how your mind works, what makes you tick and tock. As I've said b4 your one of the most strongest woman I watch. You've been blessed with the talent to take things apart , see their worth and build it back up again. You're fun to watch because your so down to earth, your moments of UGGH! are nutty, the 4 legged kiddos are adorbs, you just rock, and so do your friends

I love the idea of breaking it down to manageable pieces. When I was in grad school, I got very scared when I saw all the things I needed to do to get my doctorate. My advisor told me to stop doing that. She said - just look at what’s needed for the NEXT thing. It’s amazing when you’re finally done with a big project like yours to look back and realize how many things you did, each one a NEXT thing. The framed out and subfloored bathroom area feels like a big step. If I were you, I’d keep going back to admire it!

When looking at your space…I picture a full-length sink/vanity/countertop going from wall to wall from the side of the tub to the black iron pipe. Does that make sense?! 😆 So when you essentially walk in, you would turn to the right and directly be facing a single sink with counter space to the left of the sink. You would sit on the toilet (currently where the toilet was) and face the sink. Also for that dead space at the end of the tub, you could utilize that space for shelving above for essentials, plants, cute knick-knacks. Seeing it how it is now bare, gives room for so much more creative thinking. I can’t wait to see it all completed.

Mike is always a hoot. The only thing I remember learning from my Dad about toilets is that you should put a rag or something in the hole. There are gases that can come up and you don't want to get any debris in the hole while you are demoing.

Love watching your builds and demos. All I can think about is how awesome a large mirrored barn door (mirror facing into the living room) would look to divide up the bedroom/bathroom from the rest of the space, but still give lots of light and privacy if needed. And it'd work open or closed!

definitely down to the brass tacks! I don't think that I have seen the skeleton of a mobile before. My husband and I have always lived in mobiles. We bought our first home that was a 12X70 and the people who had lived in it before had taken out a bedroom to enlarge the livingroom! I had a huge (!) livingroom! In comparison to the rest of the house! but we have never gutted one before so this is really interesting to me to see the guts of the building itself! thanks for the vid! I know you are going to make this absolutely beautiful! xoxo

That new subfloor is so gratifying. I actually like how it looks! I'm so happy to see you slowing down, looking to learn and not just bulldoze it. That's when we learn :) Have you considered just pulling all the cast iron and coming back with pvc? I mean, it seems like it would be easy to do a replumb honestly. Go to home depot, hang out in the plumbing section and find one of the old guys that shows up in that section. They are ALWAYS the guys that *know* what you need. Like, they do this for a retirement job after plumbing for 40 years. That guy. The inside of those walls still bug me. lol. the rust makes me wonder what's going on. Condensation? I would consider grinding and priming it. Lastly, Blaze is your little shadow

Oh do I so relate to getting frustrated with demo even new building. I hate when things just don’t go the way they should. This is a huge project wow, impressive. This is going to be amazing. That Diablo blade is the bomb. Mike is always fun, just jumps in get er done. Cast iron gets brittle as it ages, then you would need rubber fittings to marry other pipe to it.

Amazing work, amazing vibe! Love seeing the whole process. Just my 3 cents: Swinging doors in a tight space gets annoying over time (even though that welded arch door sounds gorgeous and I want to see that fo sho!). Seeing the side of the toilet through the door will give gross Feng Shui. BUT I know you'll do a kickass job. You always do and you always grow and learn. Happy to be able to watch!! XO

to me, it sounds more difficult and time consuming to not do all the subfloor at once, all the framing at once, all the drywall at once, ETC. But I totally get that once your brain figures something out in a certain way, that's just the way that you have to do things in order to stay concentrated and motivated and keep on track! I'm doing a small shed project right now and could totally understand what you meant. Also, wouldn't we all love to have a friend like Mike lol.

Not sure if anyone explained trailer construction.. or if you mentioned it or not.. but the underside of the trailer needs to have insulation and a bottom to keep rats, mice snakes etc from making nests etc.. then lay the subfloor.. unless you just hire someone to do it.. the underside.. as mine I did wire mesh to keep those critters out.. hope this makes sense

Loving the new slowed down videos! I totally agree that watching a vid where they tackle a bunch is overwhelming. Can’t wait for the next vid-saw the window on IG 😍 also are you keeping the tub?

🌓Hey love, how are you doing sugar? This video was super special to me because of the authenticity of your growth and being transparent in how it really is. I am so proud of you honey, for you to step out and grow even when it was uncomfortable, you did it. That’s maturity on so many incredible levels. I’m sending you a huge hug and just know I am so inspired by you and I look forward to seeing and hearing what you have learned, and your accomplishments and even the ugly parts. Don’t forget to make time for you babe, I’m not saying you’re not doing it, I’m just saying don’t forget to continue to do it. Love ya and give your fur babies a hug for me. Lol. 🤎👏🏾👏🏾😘💕💕
