I remember studying sanskrit till 5th standard but then I was transferred to an English medium school, where sanskrit was seen as a boring subject. Being a Brahman I was familiar with Sanskrit since I was a child, looking around, I felt like an outcast who likes that boring subject that no one cares about. It did effect me as a child but when I got matured enough to stand for my own likings, I wanted to learn more and read more in Sanskrit to connect with that divine power and that pure consciousness that rules over the entire universe.
