I'm sure it was fun years ago when he was young but I think he's a father now and it must very very awkward when people always want him to do the voice and act black plus you have the "cancellable" aspect to the character PLUS if he wants to do his own thing be it act, podcast or be a public personality in general then the character of J-rock gets very much in the way of that too. The beautiful thing about such a chaotically awkward show that's played as straight as TPB is that no matter how stammery or poorly orchestrated a given interaction is between the actors, it's still all completely on-brand. There's very few shows where the actors could all be shouting over each other, tripping over their words and failing to get callers to ask questions yet have the final product be indistinguishable from the scripted show. An unconventional masterpiece to be sure.

They filmed Season 10, which was the last Season J-Roc was in, in 2015, released Season 10 in March 2016, then dropped this Podcast shortly after Season 10, in 2016. J-Roc hasn't made an appearance on anything, since this Podcast was released. I'm hoping that now that the Boys have The Animated Series, that hopefully J-Roc will come back. Because Jonathan Torrens has currently been doing a Radio/Podcast show called 'Taggart & Torrens', so literally, all they'd have to do, is get Jonathan to record J-Roc vocals, since he's got all the right Radio equipment, for his Radio Show, and then send The Boys the vocals, and then they could inject his vocals into the Animated Series. Hopefully they'll bring J-Roc back, by next year.
