I know that feeling... I lived in Colorado for 12 years and hardly touched a bike while I was there. Only got back into MTB when I moved to Austin. Not that Austin doesn't have a huge selection of single track. ;)

Man... I've for sure gotten better, but only in some areas. I carry more speed down hills and through corners and started learning how to catch a little air. Going on a trip like this is great because getting knocked on your butt can really show you where your skills are at, and where you need to improve!

i tried mt biking once. it is too dangerous. i hurt my arm and it hurt for over a year. it is just a dangerous thing to do . young people are foolish. just walk the damn trail.
